Connect Microsoft Calendar to read meetings from an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account. It works on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Meeting recording also works without a calendar; connecting one adds scheduled prompts, titles, attendees, and join links. OpenWhispr requests delegated read access to your calendars. It does not create, edit, or delete events.

Connect it

1

Open Integrations

Click Integrations in the sidebar, then the Calendar section.
2

Connect

Choose Connect Microsoft Calendar. Sign in with the Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account whose calendar you want to read, then approve access in your browser.
3

Choose which calendars count

Sync primary calendar only ignores events from calendars other people have shared with you. Leave it on if shared calendars would otherwise fill your meeting list with events you are not attending.
You can connect more than one account. Add another calendar repeats the sign-in flow, and the Microsoft Calendar card shows one row per connected email address.

What it changes

System audio still needs its own permission

Calendar access does not let OpenWhispr hear other people on a call. That uses a separate operating-system permission. See capturing both sides of the call.

Disconnecting

In Integrations, hover over the row with the connected account’s email address and choose the unlink icon. Confirm Disconnect. OpenWhispr removes the local tokens for that account; existing meeting notes are unchanged, and microphone detection plus the Meeting Mode Hotkey keep working.
